field of interest

Students of the S-1 Informatics Engineering study program take courses together until semester 4. Starting in Semester 5 students can choose courses according to their interests. Currently, there are 4 areas of specialization, namely (1) Interest in Computing Science and Numerical Methods, (2) Interest in Information Systems and Multimedia Systems (formerly Interest in Software Engineering Information Systems), (3) Interest in Intelligent Systems and Graphic Systems, and (4) Interest in Computer Networks and Data Communications. Each student’s specialization can choose 2 compulsory courses in the specialization (compulsory specialization) and 1 free choice course.

With this specialization, students are expected to be able to focus on specific competencies as the basis for making a final project/thesis that can be completed on time.
